Anvil for Kontakt 6

£20

A virtual instrument for sound design, designed to be used with Native Instruments Kontakt 6 or later.

UPDATE: Anvil Version 3.5 now available within the download, which adds major new features and improves massively on the original, including changing looping length, auto reversing at end of loop, changing resolution of envelope table, and adding reverb and delay FX.

Features

Use with your own samples by directly dragging and dropping your sounds into the interface, a new feature since Kontakt 6.2.

Mix And tweak three sample sources together as a set.

Switch your sample set on the fly by simply pressing another midi key.

Duplicate sample sets across keys to build your full set

Create a set of three samples mixes on each of 24 midi keys on your keyboard.

Tweak volume, cutoff, resonance and pitch

Envelope table smoothly fades each sample slot's parameters in and out over time.

Important note: Compatible with full version of Native Instruments Kontakt 6 or later. If you have an early version of Kontakt 6, it may prompt you to update to the latest Kontakt 6 version. NOT compatible with the free Kontakt Player.

Bonus: loosely annotated Sublime KSP script used to drive this instrument is available to purchasers, so you can see how it was made and re-use the code under a Creative Commons CC 4.0 by SA license!

Installation

Unzip the zip file to your sample instruments folder

Load the .nki file into Kontakt 6

Drag and drop your own samples into each waveform slot

Play the set from your midi keys C1 to B2

Each of these 24 midi keys can trigger a different set of three tweaked samples

Set Envelope time in secs

Reset button will reset sample set on current key (only e.g. C1 key)

Click duplicate button and then play another key within C1 to B2 to copy current settings to this new key to create a variation.

Enjoy!
